For over three decades now, Dr. Roland been exploring ways of using new technologies to support, enhance and transform teaching and learning in the art classroom. This pursuit has led him at different times to focus on the World Wide Web, videoconferencing, MUVEs, e-mail, instant messaging and listservs to deliver art instruction at a distance and to promote collaborative learning in and between art classrooms.
Dr. Tillander PhD in Art Education is from The Pennsylvania State University and she holds an MFA from Old Dominion University/Norfolk State University. She was awarded the Harlan E. and Suzanne Dudley Hoffa 2010 Dissertation Award from The Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Elizabeth Delacruz is Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Florida online Masters in Art Education program. She is Professor Emerita and former Chair of Art Education at the University of Illinois, where she also served as Education Consultant to the Krannert Art Museum and Editor of Visual Arts Research journal.
Dr. Jodi Kushins grew up, was educated, and taught high school on the East coast before making her way to the Midwest for doctoral studies in art education at The Ohio State University. In previous faculty positions she taught courses on a range of contemporary issues in art education, supervised pre-service art educators, and introduced elementary classroom teachers to arts-based learning. She has also worked as an educational consultant in a variety of cultural organizations including The Columbus Museum of Art, the Dublin Arts Council, The Wexner Center for the Arts, and The Little Minyan.
